MarSU Hosts Diwali 2022 Celebration For Its Indian Students
Mari State University, one of the leading universities in Russia, hosted a traditional Diwali 2022 celebration on Monday, 24th October, 2022 for its Indian students of MBBS in Russia. As the renowned Russian university is home to more than 1200 Indian students pursuing MBBS studies, Prof. Shvetsov Mikhail, Rector of Mari State University, decided to organize the celebration of this significant Indian festival for its students within the university campus. The hosting of the Diwali celebration at Mari State University in Russia is a clear manifestation of the strong affable bond shared by India and Russia.
the university, were decked in traditional Indian attire and performed the ritual of Lakshmi Puja to seek the blessings of Lord Ganesha and Goddess Lakshmi. The Rector of Mari State University participated in the Diwali students with the students and wished them happiness, success, and good health on this auspicious occasion.
