Rus Education in Collaboration in Medical Universities of Russia organized the first-ever cricket Tournament in Russia, the Russian Premier League for Indian students in the country. Several Universities participated in the event. Among the universities was Mari State University. The team played it best and reached the final where they played against Perm State Medical University. Mari State University proudly took home the championship trophy of the Russian Premier League.
